The 34th annual LLOYD-SHEAHAN (tm) Pool (the "Pool") is of the 2025 NCAA Men's Basketball Championship Tournament. It is open to all individuals who have submitted an Official LLOYD-SHEAHAN (tm) Bracket prior to the Submission Deadline via www.pooltracker.com/Lloyd-Sheahan.SUBMISSION DEADLINE. To be considered valid, brackets must be submitted no later than 11:00am (central time) on THURSDAY MARCH 19, 2026. Any bracket not meeting this deadline will not be accepted by the committee.SCORING. The Pool is run on the point system that follows: Base Scoring One (1) point for each correctly chosen first round winner, Two (2) points for each correctly chosen second round winner, Three (3) points for each correctly chosen third round winner, Four (4) points for each correctly chosen fourth round winner, Five (5) points for each correctly chosen fifth round winner, and Six (6) points for correctly choosing the national champion.UPSET SPECIAL. Bonus points will be awarded to any contestant who correctly chooses a lower seeded team to beat a higher seeded team. The number of bonus points awarded for each correct selection is equal to the difference between the two seeds. EXAMPLE: if a #12 seed beats a #5 seed, the bonus points awarded for a correct pick would be 7.REGIONS. In addition to competing in the overall Pool, each contestant competes in a Region. Participants are free choose in which Region they prefer to compete (see list of Regions below), however the Lloyd-Sheahan executive committee reserves the right to re-assign Region selections in the interest of preserving both fairness and authentic affiliation with individual regions. The winner of each Region will be awarded a portion of the overall prize. The Regions are: University of Notre Dame, University of Colorado, Minneapolis, Detroit, Northwest and Sheahan Family. The number and identifying characteristic of individual Regions are subject to change.WINNERS. The person amassing the most points at the conclusion of the NCAA Men's Basketball Championship Tournament will be declared the winner. In the event of a tie, the person with the higher percentage of correctly chosen games will be deemed victorious.Each participant is STRONGLY encouraged to print a copy his bracket before submitting it to the LLOYD-SHEAHAN (tm) Committee for personal reference.
